Honeybees Are Buzzing In Pittsburgh

Pest News

The Pittsburgh International Airport is abuzz with talk of honeybees. A swarm of bees attached themselves to the wing of a Delta commuter flight, delaying takeoff. Fortunately for the passengers, these bees aren’t aggressive. Apparently, they just wanted a free ride to New York.

News station KDKA reported that this isn’t the first time bees have called the airport home. In May, 30,000 bees landed on a runway light, almost completely obscuring it. There’s a great story for the kids
